Camping Pix (con't)
Ok, I know I was supposed to post these pix last week but my computer is so friggin' slow that I need time and patience to blog which I haven't really had until now. Anywho, here they are! I took this beautiful picture of the blue sky and clouds and I must say I like it so much I use it as wallpaper on my comp at work. I spoke to these
cows while down at the outhouse and they told me that they were milk chocolate cows and that I could find dark chocolate cows down the road. Then they gave me a few pointers on how to stay safe while camping in the forest. I thought they were very insightful and intelligent cows no matter what anyone says about them! Ok, on to the second day's events. Next we have a picture of my yummy cuddle bear and tour guide Dave on the quad. That damn thing can jam up a mountain, lemme tell you! It also gives you a nice workout as both of us were plenty sore after the trip! The next pic was taken from about 12,000 feet up. Talk about breathtaking! Way way up in the forest we came across Silver King Mine - 1894. Talk about cool! There was even some info on the mine and a book for visitors to sign. We got 2 pix of Silver King Mine. You can see me in the doorway of one of them. Yes, that was the only picture I managed to get in during the whole weekend. Last but not least, we can't forget the beautiful wildlife! There was deer galore and we even manged to scare a skunk but I didn't get a pic of him. At least he was nice enough not to spray us - heh. Well, that's about it! I hope you enjoy looking at my camping pix. We had a great time and I'm looking forward to the next adventure. Until next time fellow bloggers....
