Cool Bands And The Men Who Are In Them

My friend's dinner went off smoothly! Everyone who was invited showed up to celebrate the holidays and we had a great time. Unfortunately the digital camera situation hasn't changed as of yet so there are no pics to post. That's ok though. If you read my blog once in a while you pretty much know what my friends look like anyway.

Now let's talk about something else. I was trying to come up with an idea for a new feature for my blog. Something that can become a regular topic of interest. MY interest that is. I already have my regular rant in "Things That Piss Me Off" so I thought I'd go in a different direction.
Everyone who knows me knows I love music. I can't stand to be in a silent room or car for any length of time when there is so much great stuff out there to spoil your earholes with. Taking this love of music into consideration, I decided that I will make it my new regular topic.
Now I love music and I love men. This topic will more than likely become part of my obsession with cool bands and the men who are in them. Especially cute ones.
And here it goes - Today we have the Finnish band HIM.
I can't say I really know too much about this band but as I sat at work listening to my Yahoo Launchcast radio station, I

Now here we have Ville Valo, the frontman for HIM. I checked out their official website - http://www.heartagram.com/ and read a little bit about the band. He seems to be quite the chameleon. His look is constantly changing and I came across a few pics where he even looks like a transvestite but these ones I thought were worthy of posting. These ones are my flavor. I especially like the last pic where he looks like he's flipping us off because it gives it a little more edge since the music I have heard so far is pretty tame. However, I still found myself liking some of their songs which are catagorized as goth rock according to what I have read online. Not very headbanging in my opinion but certainly a refreshing alternative. So if you would like to check them out for yourself, click here Wings of a Butterfly to watch their new video. Ville is sporting a new short do in the vid that I don't really care for but other than that it's a nice song that I thought I'd share with those of you who have never heard their music before. Perhaps next week I will have a new obsession to blog about. In the meantime, enjoy the video and have a safe and Happy New Year!!
