What The Fug?!?!

Well I survived another Vegas weekend. I thought the weather was gonna be nice and it was if you're into the triple digit temperatures. The car show on Sunday was a scorcher. Someone thought it would be a good idea to have it in the parking lot of an electronics store and the asphalt must have been about 400 degrees on top of the already hundred and something temperature outside. The good news is the Skyline took 2nd place again! Now I don't know how much longer Mike is going to want to settle for second best but we were still very pleased that he placed among lots of other cool cars. I didn't take any pics this time since most of the cars were either the same or very similar to the ones I have posted before. Instead I opted to post this pic of the Chevron sign I took a couple of weeks ago in Baker, California. Now I know gas prices are way beyond ridiculous right now but seriously, this is just flat out rape. Don't we have people who are supposed to make sure that this type of shit doesn't happen? I only have a 4 banger and its takes close to 50 bucks to fill the tank. I can just imagine what people driving 6's and 8's are paying. OMG!! Now if I didn't live in the desert and work 20 miles away from my house, I'd probably ride a bike but since I have no choice, I guess I will have to keep paying out my ass for fuel and eating cup of noodles and 50 cent pot pies for lunch. Ain't life grand?!
