Someday My Car Will Grow Up To Be Something Too
Here we are again. Monday. Boo. The weekend was a blast. Dave's party was tons of fun and I didn't even have a hangover after about 12 margaritas. Success!! It was a nice turnout and we both got to see friends that we haven't seen in a long time. Unfortunately, I was a total lame ass by not taking my camera so I have no record of the event. Yeah, pretty lame. Anyway, we not only celebrated Cinco de Mayo on the 6th, we also celebrated the coming home (finally!) of Mike's fancy schmancy pimped out Skyline ride that has been in the shop for a year getting all juiced up. Yeah I know, no pictures of the car
either but don't fret! Dave and Mike are going to drive it to the Stillen show in California this weekend and yours truly has been invited. I plan on taking some pix then. That is, if I manage to survive the ride in the backseat with the Bootyz In Motion cd cranked up to earbleeding levels. You know boys and their toys!!! Anyway, before Mike got the car back we went to see it in the shop and while they were giving it the once and twice over, I poked around and found one of these beauties just sitting there waiting for a makeover or a stereo upgrade or who knows what but I just about peed when I
heard it call my name and summon me over to take a closer look. Yep, Toyota has done it again. They have stolen my heart with the new FJ Cruiser and now I'm having dreams of driving up and down mountains in my new silver SUV. I've been hoping that someday I would be able to turn in my little 4 banger 4Runner and upgrade it to a grown up version but now I might just have another more affordable option. The Cruiser is cheaper and way cool!! I could definitely see me behind the wheel. I haven't read too much about it since it's new but I'll keep
checking out the web to see if it's something I'd be willing to make payments on for the next billion years. I'm broke as hell right now but it's always nice to have goals. We all need a little inspiration sometimes. Especially on Mondays.
More colors to choose from but I still think the silver one is for me!!
Not so much a yellow kind of girl.

Good luck with that, my MG still hasn't grown up into a Jaguar but I guess then the repairs would be 50x more expensive.
