Who Loves Beaver?!?!

We do!!! Dave took me up to Beaver, Utah for camping and quad riding this past weekend and if I could describe it in one word it would be - stellar! What a beautiful place it is and only a mere 4 hours away! The weather was gorgeous and even though it got downright freezing at night, I have never felt better. We picked the perfect site to set up camp as you can see from the pictures. We had a little river running directly behind us that led to a beaver dam in one direction and a waterfall in the other direction. We rode on some atv trails the first day for a while and then the next day Dave took me higher up where the elevation was over 10,000 feet. I will be posting more pictures this week showing a bit of what we saw as we rode that second day. It was an absolutely awesome experience and I don't know how to thank Dave enough for taking me to such a beautiful place that I would probably have never seen if it wasn't for his generosity. Well, maybe I can think of something.... :-)

Lions, Tigers and Bears - Oh My!!

What could be more relaxing than enjoying a chilled mocha frappy on a nice sunny day???
How about becoming one with nature??? Yes!!
I will be off camping in the forest with Crazy Dave somewhere in Utah this weekend. I actually get to leave town!!! Holy crap!! What did I do to deserve this??? Anyway, I am off! Muy Caliente!

This hot tamale here is a friend I've known for almost 15 years (oofa!) There's not one bad thing I have to say about him (well, maybe one - he has a girlfriend -heh) We've had some good times and good talks over the years and I try to drop by his restaurant to see him as much as I can and have some awesome margaritas and mexican food (yum!) He is truly one of the last of the good guys and I wish him all the happiness in the world. Just remember buddy,

Party Pix

Well, here we go with the party pix. A little dark but what can you do? We start with my oldest and bestest friend Steve (have I said lately how much I love him?!) in his Kung Fu Mantis stance (see previous blog post below) then Brenda wishing me a happy birthday with both fingers, me andthe party host and my date for the evening Dave (yummy cuddle bear) Jackson and Tiff, Bren and I sporting our mexican party hats and flashing our gang signs (LOL)
and last but not least, a very drunken Mario who had no problem whatsoever flashing his package and getting into the jacuzzi (very dark pic but I just couldn't leave him out!)
All in all it was a great party. I only hope that we will all still be together to celebrate more birthdays in the years to come. So here's a shout out to my homies. I LOVE YOU ALL!! XOXOXO

Kung Fu Mantis

Check out this bugger here. He swooped in like a ninja and crashed my birthday celebration Saturday night. Boy was he pissed! We were all just sitting around having a good time and minding our own business when all of a sudden
this freak decided he wanted to kick some human ass before the end of the night. We were all quite intimidated by his karate kid stance and kept our distance during the display of madness. Dave was nice enough to get these shots of Kung Fu Mantis so I would have something cool to post on my blog. So what do you think?? Yeah, pretty cool!!!

Happy Birthday To Me

Yay! It's my birthday today and despite the fact that I have had virtually no sleep I am in great
spirits! This studly guy in the picture here is having a party for me on Saturday and I can't wait. What more could a girl ask for than to celebrate her birthday with good friends, booze, and a handsome man! I am truly blessed!!!

An Unexpected Surprise

It's funny how you can post someone's picture on your blog and mention how you miss them and they magically appear!! This would be the case of Mikey from Jersey. He came to town under unfortunate circumstances but managed to squeeze in a visit with me. I took him out for the evening and met up with Tiff at a karaoke bar and we
sang and had a great time. He was only in town for a couple of days but it was sure a nice surprise even though it was a sudden unexpected trip. He's back home now but I'm glad that I got to hang with him for a while and hopefully will get to see him again soon. In the meantime, keep practicing those karaoke songs buddy - I'll catch ya next time!! XOXO
