Better Than Peanut Butter And Jelly With The Crusts Cut Off

Well whatdaya know?! Blogger decided to work this morning so I could post my drifting pictures! Sweet! Let's start with my fav driver Nubo Kumakubo from Japan's Team Orange. I got to see him race out at the speedway a couple of weekends ago along with Dave, Mike, Brenda and Bob. It was hot as hell out there but once the drifitng started it was barely noticeable as we cheered on the many racers that came to Vegas all the way from Japan along with some American racers as well.

These pictures don't do the sport justice. Just imagine being right at the front of the track and watching the racers come speeding around the corner and racing from side to side as they make their way around the track. It's awesome to see and sometimes a little scary at the same time but we were standing behind the front rail and when the racers came back around, they would stick their hands out of their cars and slap our hands and wave to crowd assuring everyone that they were ok even after a few bumps on the track.

This is the rail we were standing behind. Unfortunately the lame cameramen didn't get a pic of our group but we will still probably be on tv as ESPN was out there filming. Yay! Superstars! Hee! Oh, and let's not forget the hoochies on heels who were there to keep the crowd riled up during intermission. Give me an "H!".....

Nubo going head to head with Toshiki Yoshioka.
They were the last 2 drivers in the finals. Nubo's Suburu Impreza against Toshiki's Toyota Corolla. Yes, I said Corolla!

Here's 2 pix of American Vaughn Gittin in his mustang. We know him as "JR" and he is part of Team Drift Alliance. JR is a self taught driver out of Maryland who started out at the age of 13. We got to see him out at the speedway as well but unfortunately he got smoked out by one of the Japanese drivers. Better luck next time JR! If you would like to find out more about JR and the Drift Alliance Team, check out their website - http://www.driftalliance.com/ They even have some groovy t-shirts and stuff.

Another action picture. Don't ask me what the Japanese writing on the side says but I'm guessing it's probably something like "check out these bad boys kicking up smoke as they haul ass around the track - WOOT!!!"

Well believe it or not, the Corolla beat out the Impreza! Gotta give props to my man Nubo Kumakubo. He was a great sport and handled his loss with style and grace!

Toshiki Yoshioka celebrating his win with a little help from his friends. Well done Toshiki!

You guys rock! See ya next time! Go Team Orange! XOXO

Why is my comment thingy so far down there? WTF?!?!

Blog Update

Ok,
It kinda sucks when you are trying to update your blog and the damn pictures won't post.
Since I've been slacking on my blog lately I guess I will just have to babble a bit right now and
try again with pictures later.

First off, the weather here in Vegas is hot and humid. We are supposed to be in for thunderstorms all week long and the temperature has been in the hundreds so there ya go. Last week our office at work was in the upper 80's when our air conditioning crapped out and we just about died. I'm pretty sure making us work under those conditions is illegal. If it isn't, it should be. Let's see, what else? Oh, my boyfriend is having a hawaiian themed birthday party this weekend. Should work out great with the thunderstorms. LOL! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will be gone by Saturday. I haven't been feeling that great lately so I didn't do any drinking this past weekend. Didn't matter. I still feel like crap. Just goes to show you that you might as well do what you want because we're all gonna die anyway.

We went to the speedway a couple of weekends ago and watched the drifting races. I have finally found a sport I can really get into! It was just amazing seeing these guys flying sideways around the track with speeds over 100 miles an hour. A few of them crashed into the wall and one guy had to go to the hospital but other than that the rest of the races went off without a hitch. Some smoke and a few lost bumpers but that's about it. The japanese drivers came all the way out here to entertain us silly Americans and they did a bang up job! (get it - bang up?) Hee! They also thanked the Americans and said how much they enjoyed being here. They were the coolest! I am definitely looking forward to the next time they come out here. Hopefully my new favorite driver Nubo Kumakubo will race again so I can cheer him on.

Well, that's enough for now. I'll see if I can get some pics on here in the next few days. Have a groovy week.

Sleep? Who Needs Sleep?!

Sometimes you just don't feel like getting out of bed. Take today for instance. I didn't drink last night. I didn't stay out too late. I got plenty of sleep but when I woke up this morning I felt like someone drained all the blood out of my body. Maybe I need to up my B vitamins or something. Anyway, after forcing myself to shower and drive my tired ass to work, I sat at my desk still wiping the sleep out of my eyes when all of a sudden an angel appeared. This angel sits next to me at work and on this particular day he happened to show up bearing a gift just for me. My very own Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha! Now how do you explain how this beautiful brown eyed boy seemed to know exactly what I needed to get through the workday?! Maybe after working so closely together for the past few months, he has developed an extra sensory perception. Whatever the case may be, I have to give a shout out to my brown eyed angel. Alex, you rock! Oh, and by the way, have I told you lately how hot you look in a black wifebeater? Oh yeah!

4th of July Party

Here are some pix from Dave's July 4th party. I had to narrow it down to these since there were way too many to choose from. Dave was nice enough to take another crappy picture of me but I had to include it so you can see how festive I look in my holiday lip shirt. There were hella people at this party and I know that Dave will be disappointed that I didn't post any pix of the girls who got naked at the end of the night but I try to keep it PG13. Anywho, alot of fun was had by all and I even managed to make it home and sleep for a whole hour before having to work at 6am the next day. Yeah, it can be a bitch sometimes but that's just how we roll.....

Dave looking handsome with one of his gal pals

Dave's sis Brenda and her hubby Teddy

Mikey
Jerry and his band provided the live entertainment. There were plenty of bootyz in motion!

Bob and newlywed Valentina.
Holly & Jamie

Ok, do we really need to know everyone's names? I don't think so either so rather than blow a brain cell trying to remember them all lets just say - here are more party peeps!

I would guess this picture was taken right before people started losing their tops. Too bad the guys are such wimps. It would be nice to see a naked package once in a while instead of just boobies all the time. Chickens! Anyway, the party was a blast. We even had our own kick ass fireworks show that made all the neighbors jealous. No pix of those though. By that time we were all pretty krunked up and Dave's interest in picture taking was lost. At least until the girls got naked. And so it goes.....

Dude, how did I get here?!

Well here we go. The 4 day weekend has past and now it's back to work again. Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Um, yeah. Soooo...... how was your 4th of July? Mine you ask? Well, I survived another Crazy Dave beach party. It all started about 7ish Tuesday evening and ended about.....well.....about 45 minutes ago. Yeah, no shit. And I made it to work. Wait, let me rephrase that. I made it home in time to change with just enough time to go back to the party to tuck my man into bed and then drive the 20 something miles to work. Talk about a dedicated employee. Ok, maybe not. I just need the money. Anywho, here I am, still legally drunk I'm sure with just about 8 and 1/2 hours to go. F**K!!! I swear to the lord Jesus Christ and anyone else who will listen, if any of my coworkers dare to call in sick there is going to be hell to pay. I will throw a fit like no human being has ever seen before. With pee and everything. I'm not joking. Just try me. I dare you. With that said, I hope you all had a groovy holiday weekend. Seriously, I'm not hatin'. Just don't f**k with me today. It's all good. Feel the love.
